‘Dragged Across Concrete’ To Rob Blu-Ray Shelves Next Month

Anchovies.

The modern king of exploitation, S. Craig Zahler himself, returns with yet another stylish and methodical piece of brutality with his newest cops gone bad crime epic Dragged Across Concrete. Though the film is currently showing in theaters + on VOD, you won’t have to wait long for its Blu-Ray release, with the film hitting shelves pretty soon on April 30th. First up, the cover art:

Unfortunately, details on its audio specs nor what extras it will provide are unavailable at the time. Still, I hope the film gets a good treatment on video because this is honestly a damn good piece of exploitation from its exceptionally tight technical sensibilities to fantastic performances across the board and super pulpy yet effective dialogue. It was also a film that is a lot more nuanced in its depictions of racism than others would ever want to acknowledge, though I can understand similar criticism in regards to its depictions of women. Still, a film I view as a very entertaining ride. For my money, it’s easily the fastest 159 minutes I’ll encounter all year.
