First Official Trailer for ‘Jessica Jones’ Season 2

Netflix has released the first trailer for season 2 of Jessica Jones. Check it out below!

Jessica Jones is easily my favorite Netflix/MCU show; although, I am a bit behind (blame the boringness of Luke Cage episode 1). However, this season looks to dive deeper into how Jessica got her powers, as well as Trish’s involvement into becoming her sidekick. Also nice to see Malcolm look a lot healthier and fit given his involvement with narcotics in season 1. And of course, the trailer ends with a brief clapping hint of a man who will continue to plague Jessica inside her head.

Synopsis: Jessica Jones is back as New York City’s tough-as-nails private investigator. Although this time, the case is even more personal than ever before. Fueled by a myriad of questions and lies, she will do whatever it takes to uncover the truth.

Jessica Jones season 2 hits Netflix March 8, 2018.

  • Nokoo

    I didn’t hate it, per se, but I certainly won’t be…defending it.

  • Sailor Monsoon

Oh that’s just the tip of a very large iceberg.
There’s nothing i hate more than a poorly written show.

  • Larry Version 3

Seems like an irrational hate but I can appreciate your opinion.

  • Peacesquad

Looks interesting!! And she’s so hot

Hope they don’t ignore the events of defenders

  • Sailor Monsoon

But she’s not the only victim of his.
He does this to every single person he meets but for unexplained plot reasons, random chick is the most important one.
    And then she kills herself.
Which negates everything jones does in the show.
It would be like getting to the end of saving private Ryan and right when the enemy tanks show up in the 3rd act, matt damon shoots himself in the face.
What the fuck is the point?

  • Raiden

Batman has a special hatred for those who abuse children and wants to help children because he was a kid when he suffered his trauma. Jessica wants to help this girl because she was raped by Kilgrave and wants to keep other people from suffering what she went through.

  • Sailor Monsoon

Why not make the victim her cousin or sister?
    Or friend.
Make her anyone with any connection to jones and there’s instant pathos.
But she’s just some random chick.

  • Raiden

Empathy? The victim is in a similar position to where she was when Kilgrave kidnapped her.

  • Sailor Monsoon

Spoilers for a show that’s had 4 spin off’s already.

    But there was no journey.
She doesn’t grow as a character and nothing is gained.
Everything leads to a conclusion that could’ve taken place immediately.
There’s no goddamn reason why she should care about that random chick and there’s no reason why she doesn’t kill him as soon as he has no power over her.

  • Raiden

Sometimes it’s about the journey and the characters, not the destination.

  • Raiden

Basically about Jessica trying to take down a Rapist with mind control powers. To say anything else would be to spoil it.

  • TheDeadFellow

I’m still a bit iffy on the lack of Tennant (even if he’s going to be back in flashback form) but everything else looks like in tip top shape.

  • Sailor Monsoon

The entire motivation behind everything Jones does in that season was to save that random chick.
She could’ve killed Kilgrave a million times but she wants to bring him in to save her.
    And then she kills herself.
Which made everything up to that point entirely meaningless.
It’s as badly written as the walking dead.
Oh and the neighbors sister is one of the most annoying characters committed to television.

  • JJ v Kilgrave and there’s also Trish against her pill chomping bf.

  • Sailor Monsoon

What’s the plot of season 1?

  • I know you did.

  • Oh don’t get him started.

  • What? Why you no like JJ?

  • Sailor Monsoon

That’s gonna be a hell no from me dawg.
    Absolutely loathed season 1.

  • Vincent Kane

Love me some Jessica Jones but David Tennant as Kilgrave just killed it. Looking forward to season 2 and loved the tease of the clapping hands at the end.
