Leonardo Dicaprio Lands Starring Role in Tarantino’s New Flick

Previously reported,  Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Leonardo DiCaprio have been circling the new film for big roles.

Tarantino’s new film being described as “A Pulp Fiction-esque film set in 1969 during the Manson murders”. Sony nabbed the rights to Tarantino’s ninth film and has an August 9th, 2019 release date. The deal is not finalized but expected to close soon.

DiCaprio’s will play an aging actor in the story that is being kept under wraps but is a Pulp Fiction-esque movie set in the 1969 Los Angeles during the summer of the Manson murders.

Tarantino has already asked Margot Robbie to play the role of Sharon Tate, and as Deadline has reported Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have been circling the project with DiCaprio for what is known to be two meaty male roles.

This is an interesting choice for DiCaprio, as it’s his first film after his Oscar win for The Revenant.
