A slew of Mission: Impossible – Fallout stuff has been dropping recently so let’s dive in and dissect what’s been happening.
First, Variety is reporting that Fallout could open to $48 million and $65 million in its opening weekend. If it reaches the high end it will beat the John Woo-directed Mission: Impossible II which opened with $57.8 million back in 2000.
Next, the first reactions to the sequel have hit the web, specifically Twitter, and they are positive (because Twitter).
Happy to report #MissionImpossibleFallout is a fantastic movie that's absolutely loaded with *insane* action and edge of your seat holy shit moments. Not sure how @TomCruise keeps raising the bar but I'm so happy he does. The bathroom fight scene alone is worth price of admission pic.twitter.com/FPhnz37VCK
