News Buffet: James Gunn’s Horror Film ‘BrightBurn’, ‘The Possession Of Hannah Grace’, ‘The Intruder’, ‘Holmes And Watson’


Now we know the title and release date to James Gunn’s horror movie with Sony’s Screen Gems! The films title is BrightBurn and it’s getting a 5 month delay.

The plot synopsis: “Thriller about a farm and a family in Brandenburg, Kansas”. Pretty broad.

BrightBurn stars Elizabeth Banks and burns bright into theaters on May 24, 2019

Screen Gems has put The Possession Of Hannah Grace (new title for Cadaver) in it’s place and dates The Intruder.

The plot synopsis: “Story centers on a disgraced ex-cop and recovering addict who takes a job in a graveyard shift at the morgue of the hospital where she got sober. Soon after a mysterious and brutally massacred body is delivered to the morgue, she begins to witness terrorizing and violent murders, leading her to face off against an evil entity.”

The Possession Of Hannah Grace possesses into theaters on November 30, 2018.


The Intruder plot synopsis:The Intruder centers on a young married couple who buys a beautiful Napa Valley home only to find that the man they bought it from refuses to let go of the property and he slowly terrorizes them.”

The Intruder intrudes into theaters on April 26, 2019.

Finally Holmes & Watson has been delayed 4 days to December 25, 2018.
