That can be anything from:

-Michael Caine fighting a roaring voodoo shark in Jaws the Revenge.
-Ellen Ripley saving a cat in Alien.
-Or Braveheart sacrificing his life to save France in Braveheart.
Let’s shine a light on some underrated heroes:
BLACK DYNAMITE: BLACK DYNAMITE
Black Dynamite is one of the most underrated and overlooked films of the 2000’s.
It’s one of the greatest parodies of all time and the lion’s share of credit goes to Michael Jai White. His performance is an all timer.
LADY SNOWBLOOD: LADY SNOWBLOOD
Say what you will about Tarantino but the man doesn’t homage terrible films. One of the biggest influences on Kill Bill is Lady Snowblood because Lady Snowblood is kick ass.
ELVIS AND JFK: BUBBA HO-TEP
Bruce Campbell gives the best performance of his career in one of the most profound movies ever made about getting old. It’s a deeply sympathetic portrayal of not only a legend, but a man who’s no longer useful in society.
Just because he’s old.
Oh and there’s an ass sucking mummy in it.
THE CRIMSON BOLT: SUPER
He smashes a guys face because he cuts in line and he fights a drug dealing Kevin Bacon.
RENARD THE FOX: THE TALE OF THE FOX
Predates Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox by 65 years.
Renard isn’t as charming as Clooney (who is?), but he’s a hell of a lot more cunning.
ASHE CORVEN: THE CROW: CITY OF ANGELS
I think Vincent Perez is better than Brandon lee.
There. I said it.
MATSU THE SCORPION: FEMALE PRISONER #701: SCORPION
Meiko Kaji is the single most underrated badass in cinema.
