Posters for ‘Incredibles 2’ and ‘Ready Player One’ (Spoiler: The ‘RP1’ Poster is GORGEOUS!)

A couple posters have dropped today. One for Incredibles 2 and another for Ready Player One. And I’m not going to lie, that Ready Player One poster was my screensaver within two minutes of me first laying eyes on it.

The Incredibles 2 poster also came with a new synopsis:

In ‘Incredibles 2,’ Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack — whose superpowers are about to be discovered.

Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

Incredibles 2 hits theaters June 15, 2018.

Meanwhile, the Ready Player One poster is a beautiful illustrated one sheet by Paul Shipper. It pays homage to a number of 80s posters, specifically the ones created by legendary artist Drew Struzan. I had hoped Spielberg would go all in with the 80s references and actually have an illustrated one sheet as the official poster. He didn’t disappoint.

Ready Player One hits theaters March 29, 2018.
