‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ Trailer #2: Sony Looks to Finally Have a Good Spider-Man Film Again

A new trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been released and dammit does it look amazing! Spectacular! Ultimate! Okay, that last one didn’t really work, but still! Watch the trailer below.

P.S. It has Nic Cage voicing Spider-Man Noir. You’re welcome.

Damn, that first fifteen seconds that basically goes “We know you loved the Raimi films so here’s an homage to that.” It sort of makes me wonder why they didn’t just get Tobey Maguire to reprise his role as Spider-Man; unless Sony has done something sneaky and we’ll be getting brief voice cameos from Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Nah, who am I kidding, Sony doesn’t want us to be happy when watching a Spider-Man film.

What did you think of the trailer? Honestly, I think this is one of my most anticipated superhero films coming out in the next six months.

Synopsis: Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters December 14, 2018.
