The CW Sets Dates for This Year’s Arrowverse Crossover; Brendan Fraser to Voice Robotman on ‘Doom Patrol’

A couple of DCTV announcements.

First up, The CW announced the dates for their annual Arrowverse crossover. This year it will start on Sunday, December 9 at 8 pm with The Flash, continue on Monday, December 10 with Arrow, and conclude with Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11. Legends of Tomorrow is sitting out of the crossover game this year.

The three night event swaps the regular scheduled slots of The Flash and Supergirl for unknown reasons at this time. However, with Ruby Rose’s Batwoman set to entire the fray, this will definitely be a crossover you won’t want to miss.

Next, according to Deadline, Brendan Fraser (featured in the header) has been cast to voice Robotman in DC Universe’s Doom Patrol series. Riley Shanahan will play Robotman on-set in a full body costume. This is just the latest casting announcement for the series as it recently added Jovian Wade in the role of Cyborg. Additionally, Kelsey Grammar is rumored for Doom Patrol leader Dr. Caulder.

Fraser has been absent in movies for a few years now, but was part of the #MeToo movement that sweeped Hollywood earlier this year. He is slowly making a comeback by appearing in various TV series like The Affair, Trust, and Condor. Are you hoping for a Fraser Renaissance?
