‘The Lion King’ Trailer: Disney Dives Back into the Vault for Another Sure-Fire Hit

This will make all the monies. The first trailer for the live-action remake of The Lion King has been released. James Earl Jones provides the narration for the trailer which should be all you need to check it out.

This looks simply gorgeous. I haven’t really been keeping up with the production of this film so I don’t know if this is fully CGI or if they actually shot some footage in Africa. Jon Favreau and Disney have a great working relationship since The Jungle Book (and to some extent Iron Man which kicked off the MCU money train for eventual owner Disney).

The voice cast includes Donald Glover, Beyoncé, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Seth Rogen, and John Oliver among others.

What did you think of the trailer?
