Y’all know me.
Know how i make a livin’
But you don’t know my tastes.
So everyday (or every couple of days. I’m lazy)
I’m going to make a list of my top 10 favorite things from movies to cereals to saturday morning cartoons.
10. Danger 5
How did this show ever get made?
It’s Pure lunacy from start to finish.
The fact that it even exists earns it a spot on my list.
Here’s some out of context pics to sell you on the crazy:
9. Arrested Development
A Russian nesting doll of comedy.
Layers of in jokes, call backs and background comedy make this the cleverest comedy ever made.
I even like season 4.
8. Dinner for Five
John Favreau and four unrelated celebrities have dinner and talk.
They talk about show business, their lives or whatever topic pops up.
It’s one of the most captivating things you’ll ever see.
7. Parks and Recreation
This is the epitome of the hangout show.
Watching an episode is like catching up with old friends.
And in has one of the strongest ensembles on television.
Every character is a comedic juggernaut.
I hate April.
6. Game of Thrones
Falcon Crest with Tits and Dragons.
All kidding aside, Game of Thrones is one of the best written, best acted shows on television.
Every one on one conversation feels like a miniature episode of playhouse 90.
Better than it’s source material.
I would sacrifice a a school bus full of puppies to see Bryan fuller’s version of The Godfather.
4. At The Movies with Siskel and Ebert
A cornucopia of information and a literal school of criticism.
*that’s a word, right?
3. Adventure Time
Almost every animated show dips in quality after season 5.
This is not only the exception but actually gets better with each new season.
If the show ends on a high point, The Simpsons have a legit contender for the best animated TV show crown.
It made me tear up by using the Cheers song emotionally.
The greatest Television show of all time.
I believe Bryan Cranston gives the greatest performance, in any medium as Walter White.
I will revisit this show for years to come, Just to see that transformation.
I can’t praise this show enough.
1. Venture Bros
Some of you have Star Wars.
Some of you are Trekkies.
Some fight over which is better: Marvel or DC
Some fight over console vs PC gaming
If you love something, you usually have to passionately argue against others that don’t get it.
Venture Bros is my obsession but i won’t fight with you over it.
Or try and get you to watch it.
The exact opposite. I don’t want you to watch it.
Leave it alone.
You know the drill Exiles.
Comment or throw rocks.
Seriously, leave my Venture Bros alone.
