Vincent Kane’s 90’s Horror Music Picks

Last week I shared some of my favorite songs from 80’s horror movies, so I thought I share some favorites from the 90’s (my second favorite decade). The 90’s isn’t really known for it’s overall horror, even though there are some great ones, but there are some down right classic jams from this decades horror offerings.

I know I left some gems off but I wanted to let you guys play too. So before you say “How could you leave (insert song) off the list?!” Simply share the song from a 90’s horror movie in the comments! I look forward to jamming out to some of the selections this Halloween season! Enjoy!

Goodbye Horse by Q Lazaruz from Silence of the Lambs

Catchy song made famous during Buffalo Bill’s infamous tuck dancing scene.

After Dark by Tito & Tarantula from From Dusk Till Dawn

Salma fucking Hayak!

Paint it Black by Gob from Stir of Echoes

A cover of a Rolling Stones classic that fit perfectly with Kevin Bacon haunting.

Save Yourself by Stabbing Westward from Urban legends

One of my favorite songs from the 90’s alone but being used in a horror movie makes it even better.

Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter from Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight

Simply a great intro song for the opening scene to one of the best horror films of the 90’s. Demon Knight and this song fit perfectly.

Sweet Dream by Marilyn Manson from House On Haunted Hill (1999)

A cover of a classic used in a remake in a classic. Manson’s work is made for horror movies.
